For me, writing music means writing songs – describing an image with a couple of chords and in a few words – tuning a mood, so to speak. Whenever that succeeds with guitar and voice – wonderful. And when it sounds that much more sumptuous working together with other musicians, so much the better.

In making music since 2006, I’ve been moving along acoustic as well as electronic paths. With Lutz Boddenberg, I perform as the electronic music duo mein Bruder Karin (my brother Karen), while also appearing solo and in a quartet/ensemble under my name. On the following pages you’ll find what’s being created at the moment, in addition to everything from before.
